Since 11 September 2026, the reporting obligations of the Cyber Resilience Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/2847) have applied. MENNEKES had a clear vision: charging electric cars should become as simple and intuitive as using a smartphone. The new AMTRON® wallboxes impressed with high-quality technology and minimalist design, and the digital experience for EV drivers was to live up to this standard in every respect.
As a long-standing partner, Werkdigital was commissioned to develop the app completely from scratch, from the first idea to the final launch. Built with React Native, the MENNEKES 4Drivers app was created in parallel for iOS, including Apple Watch, and Android: controlling charging sessions in real time, managing several devices, PV surplus charging and company car billing included.
